The Barong, also known as Barong Tagalog, is a traditional, formal men's shirt from the Philippines.

VINTA Barongs are a modern take on a beautiful tradition. The VINTA Relaxed Classic Barong is made with cotton-silk blend fabric in a warm ivory tone that is ultra soft and drapey. This barong features the traditional half-open cut, with a modern silhouette, cut closer to the body. The slim silhouette is achieved by adding an invisible zipper at the side seam to assist with easy pull-over. 

This barong has hand-manipulated Neo Classic embroidery design featuring Palay (rice plant), Ylang-ylang, Tayabak (jade vine) and Sampaguita. Arranged in Classic symmetry to invoke Barong Tagalog embroideries of the past.

Each barong is handcrafted by the VINTA Gallery team in our atelier in the Philippines. Hand-manipulated machine embroidery is also done in our atelier.
