VINTA Gallery was founded in 2013 in Toronto, Canada — born from the Filipino diaspora’s longing for the beauty it left behind. What began as a promise between founder Caroline Mangosing and Manila master couturier Estelita Lagman became a decade-long project to bring modern Filipiniana to the global stage: handcrafted, heirloom-quality garments that draw from the cosmopolitan elegance of Philippine fashion history, from the 1890s through the 1970s, and from the rich textile traditions of Indigenous Filipino craft.

Over the past decade, VINTA Gallery became the reference point. As the first brand to bring modern Filipiniana to the international stage, we shaped a new aesthetic vocabulary — one that has since inspired a wave of emerging brands and designers. We welcome that. But there is only one original.

Now, we’ve come back home.

This next chapter brings VINTA Gallery to the Philippine market — not as something new, but as something that was always rooted here. Our atelier, our artisans, and our inspiration have always been in the Philippines. It was only a matter of time before the brand itself followed.

We believe that Filipino craft is among the finest in the world. We always have. And we are honored to finally offer that belief — made tangible in every stitch and every silhouette — to the community that made it all possible.

For over ten years, VINTA Gallery dressed Filipinos around the world in their heritage — beautifully made, creatively reimagined, and worn with pride. We became the singular cult brand for the global Filipino who refused to choose between fashion-forward and culturally rooted.

Three Ways to Work With Us

Made to Measure

Starting Point

All of our existing VINTA designs — the pieces you know from our collections — are available to be made in your exact measurements. Choose any style from our archive, and our atelier will produce it to fit your body precisely.

Fabric changes are available for an additional fee, subject to sourcing. This is the most straightforward way to own a VINTA piece — a proven design, made to your specifications.

Custom Order

Personalized

Start with a VINTA design and make it your own. A Custom Order lets you modify an existing style with your choice of fabric, adjusted measurements, and minor design changes — a different neckline, a longer hemline, sleeve adjustments, and more.

Up to three customizations are included in a Custom Order. Anything beyond three modifications will be categorized as a Couture Order. This option is ideal for special occasions where you want something distinctly yours, grounded in a silhouette you already love.

Couture

One of One

A fully original design created from the ground up. Our Couture service is for weddings, milestone celebrations, and occasions that call for something that has never existed before — a one-of-one terno, barong, or ensemble conceived in collaboration with our design team and brought to life by our atelier.

The process begins with a consultation and a design deposit, which goes toward the final cost of the garment. Final pricing depends on the complexity of the design, fabrics selected, and construction details.

Reach out with your vision — the occasion, the garment type, and any inspiration you have in mind.

We'll discuss design details, measurements, fabric options, and timeline. For Couture, this is where the creative process begins.

Create

Your garment is cut and constructed by our artisans in our Philippines-based atelier. Updates are shared throughout production.
